INSTALLATIONS

    MAIN

If you’ve done this before, you know that finding the right fireplace or stove is only half the battle. Before one of our products can go to work heating your home with those gorgeous dancing flames, it must be professionally installed.

After 15 years of handling these heavy items, my aching back does not allow me to do much heavy lifting. But that doesn’t mean I’m settling down in the rest home anytime soon.

You don’t put in the years I have without building some relationships along the way. I know several installers who I trust to work for my customers and will do a great job in a timely manner.

I don’t just sell you a stove and toss you a few business cards of installers. I will work with you and coordinate the whole project with the installers on your behalf. You and I will go over costs and materials and set a date for installation. If needed, I will come out to your home or job site and go over the job. When it comes time for installation, the crew will come on out and take care of the work we discussed.

    SERVICE & MAINTENANCE

I may not be physically capable of lifting those 500 pound wood stoves anymore, but I am still able to do most service. I go out a lot on gas service calls and all around maintenance and repairs. No matter what you own, you need to have a technician out once a year to do an annual service procedure to make sure an unsafe condition has not developed since last year. Almost all damage to your home or threats to your family’s health can be avoided by regular preventive maintenance. This is as true for gas and pellet appliances as it is for wood. It is ESPECIALLY true for unvented gas appliances as their performance can change instantly causing catastrofic damage to your home within hours.

Think back to when you purchased your heater, fireplace, or logs. Remember how much it cost to buy and have installed? How much is your home and health worth to you? Now, for $100 a year for gas and $200 per year for wood you can buy the best insurance out there to protect your home and health. That is a bargain!

    GUARANTEE

WORMANSHIP:
I have a great relationship with the installers who do our work. Their work is guaranteed to be properly done according to manufacturer recommendations and local building codes. Any work they perform is guaranteed for performance for one year. So, if up to 12 months from installation your caulking fails and a leak develops, call me up and I will get the crew over as soon as it is dry to reseal at no expense to you. If a strap breaks, call me. Whatever might happen, you are covered.

MATERIALS:
All materials sold are UL Listed and warranted by their manufacturers. If any component fails for any reason, call me for a quick resolution. I personally stand behind all manufacturer warranties and deal with manufacturers directly and on your behalf. We want your experience with our family to be a great one through any circumstances.

SATISFACTION:
As mentioned on our store policies section of the home page, I extend a 100% product satisfaction guarantee. If you use my product for up to 30 days and find it does not meet your needs as expected, I will take it back and apply 100% of what you paid toward another product of equal or greater value.

The returned item must be in clean, almost like new, resaleable condition. If the product must be un-installed professionally, you will be responsible for that expense. If the new product must be professionally installed, you will be responsible for that expense. Fortunately, it is much less expensive to change out some appliances than to initially install them which reduces the cost a great deal.

HERE IS A BIG TIP:
Some items, such as fireplaces are concealed when finished and impossible to remove witout some demolition. If at all possible, you want to check out your fireplace before the finishing materials are applied to the front. This way it will be a much easier task if you want to change out for something different. We don’t want to come into your brand new house and start tearing stone off the walls and we know you don’t want that.
